Man survives fatal single-vehicle crash at Broadway and Miller Street

A tragic accident occurred on June 7 in Santa Maria, California, when 24-year-old Aurelio Calixtro Matias was the only survivor of a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a traffic signal pole at the intersection of South Broadway and Miller Street. Authorities said five teenagers aged 16 to 19 were killed at the scene. Matias was pulled from the wreckage with critical injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
