23-Year-Old Xavier Caballero Killed In Lubbock, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 6 in Lubbock, Texas. Five people, including two children, tragically lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident  in the right lane of the 7000 block of the Marsha Sharp Freeway. 23-year-old Xavier Caballero, was traveling east when they were struck head-on by an SUV that authorities say was heading west in the eastbound lanes. Caballero and the SUV driver died at the scene. Three occupants in the minivan, including a one-year-old female and a two-year-old male, were also killed in the wreck. The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
