A tragic accident occurred on January 1 in Dallas, Texas, when 23-year-old Michael Lavarius McRae was arrested following a DUI-related collision on Central Expressway. Authorities said McRae’s white Honda Civic struck a vehicle carrying a family of four just after 1 a.m., causing the car to flip. An 8-year-old boy was ejected and later underwent an emergency below-the-knee amputation. McRae faces multiple charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
