Charged with DUI after electric scooter crash injures 33-year-old man

A tragic accident occurred on March 10 in Berkeley, California, when 23-year-old Irving Moreno-Reyes of San Pablo was arrested following a collision involving his electric scooter and a vehicle at Oxford and Addison streets. The 33-year-old scooter operator was critically injured. Moreno-Reyes faces charges of DUI and causing bodily injury. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
