Driver charged with intoxication manslaughter

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 24 at around 3 AM in San Antonio Texas. 23-year-old David Alaquinez was killed in a crossed caused by a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on S. East Loop 410. The crash occurred when Alaquinez swerved out-of-the-way of the driver of a Mazda traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes. Unfortunately he traveled underneath the trailer of a semi truck and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mazda was taken to University Hospital and charged with intoxication manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
