Snow-related accident on Highway 50 leaves two helpers also seriously hurt

A tragic accident occurred on february 16 near South Lake Tahoe, when 23-year-old Daniel Tam was seriously injured in a snow-related accident on Highway 50. Authorities said Tam was being assisted by two good Samaritans installing tire chains when a pickup lost control and struck them, leaving all three with major injuries. An online fundraiser was created to assist with Tam’s medical expenses. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
