23-Year-Old Alejandro Manriquez-Chavez Killed in Kern, CA Accident

Parked Car Struck by Speeding SUV

A tragic accident occurred on June 13 in Kern County, California, when 23-year-old Alejandro Manriquez-Chavez was killed in a suspected DUI crash. Around morning, a Hyundai Santa Fe veered off Highway 178 near Beale Avenue and struck a parked Saturn Ion where Manriquez-Chavez was seated. The impact overturned both vehicles. He died at the scene. Two others had minor injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
