Woman dies six days after hit-and-run

A tragic accident occurred on August 21 in Antioch, California, when 23-year-old Monserrat Jimenez was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident. According to police, the collision occurred around 10:31 p.m. at Hillcrest Avenue and the eastbound Highway 4 off-ramp. The driver fled, while Jimenez was hospitalized and died six days later. Police located the vehicle but continue searching for the driver. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
