Los Angeles man dies in hit-and-run accident

A tragic accident occurred on August 17 in San Juan Capistrano, California, when 23-year-old Cesar Amilcar Zuniga Ruiz was killed in a hit-and-run accident. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Ruiz was struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by 85-year-old Anthony Konstantine Kalomas around 12:30 a.m. on Highway 74 near La Novia Avenue. Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene. Kalomas was arrested for hit-and-run. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
