22-Year-Old McKaylynn Crowl Killed In Marissa Township, IL Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday March 19th, at around 3:27 a.m. in Marissa Township, Illinois. 22-year-old McKaylynn M. Crowl was tragically killed when she was hit by a vehicle while walking west on Route 13. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 29-year- old Candice L.W. Barton. Sadly, Crowl died at the scene. No further details of the collision were released and ISP Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
