A tragic accident occurred on October 4 in El Paso, Texas, when 22-year-old Luis Francisco Salcido was fatally struck by an SUV near North Zaragoza Road and Sun Fire Boulevard. The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. as Salcido was crossing the road. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities said he was in the crosswalk against the signal. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
