22-Year-Old Lourdes Diego Injured In Fresno, CA Pedestrian Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 2 at about 11 PM in Fresno California. 22-year-old Lourdes Diego was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while trying to assist an injured pedestrian on Highway 41. The incident occurred when an unidentified man was hit by two cars. Diego saw the accident and pulled over into the center divider to offer the man some help. It was then that Diego was hit by a Honda Civic. Diego was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
