Forlastro was driving his motorcycle south on Danbury Road when, for reasons still unknown, a collision occurred with a pick-up truck turning west into a parking lot. Forlastro died as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck. A female passenger riding with him was taken to Danbury Hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.
