22-Year-Old Alexander Gonzalo Killed in Austin, TX Accident

Scooter rider hit near W. 5th Street and Rio Grande Street

A tragic accident occurred on November 15 in Austin, TX, when 22-year-old Alexander Gonzalo was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of W. 5th Street and Rio Grande Street just before 1:30 a.m. Gonzalo was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
