Pedestrian dies after being struck on Highway 166

A tragic accident occurred on May 3 in the Santa Maria area, California, when 22-year-old Aida Negahdar was struck by a vehicle on Main Street (Highway 166) near Bonita School Road. Authorities said the driver fled the scene. Negahdar died from her injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact CHP at (805) 608-6310.
