A tragic accident occurred on February 26 in Los Angeles, California, when 22-year-old Robert Francis was struck and killed by a suspected DUI driver at Ninth Street and Towne Avenue. Authorities said the vehicle was traveling eastbound in westbound lanes when it hit Francis, who was walking south. He died at the scene from his injuries.
