A tragic accident occurred on September 5 in Bakersfield, California, when 22-year-old Kevin Daniel Stevens was killed during a police pursuit. Police said Stevens was sitting at a bus stop when a fleeing vehicle struck him on the sidewalk. The 20-year-old driver was arrested and faces second-degree murder and evading charges.
