Struck After Exiting Vehicle on Old River Road

A tragic accident occurred on June 7 in Bakersfield, California, when 22-year-old Daniel Aguirre was fatally struck after exiting his vehicle. Around 11:36 p.m., Aguirre crashed his Infiniti coupe into a tree on Old River Road near White Oak Drive. After stepping out of the car, he was hit by a passing Honda sedan. He was pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
