21-Year-Old Tyler Congden Involved In Camden, NY Accident

Vehicle rear-ended on Route 13

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday January 10th in Camden, New York. 21-year-old Tyler Congden crashed into the back of another vehicle, leaving one person hospitalized.  The Oneida County Sheriff's Office reported that Congden was driving Westbound on Route 13 in a Subaru when the driver ahead of him started a turn into a driveway. Deputies said that Congden struck the vehicle, a 2012 Ford, from behind due to wintry conditions and following too closely. The driver of the Ford was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries. Congden and his passenger were not injured.  Deputies issued Congden a ticket for following too closely.
