21-Year-Old Marco Moreno Injured In Alton, IA Accident

Pedestrian accident on Iowa Highway 60

Tragic accident that occurred on March 28th in Alton, Iowa.  21-year-old Marco Moreno was injured when he was hit by a pickup truck while walking along Iowa Highway 60.  According to authorities, Moreno was traveling on foot when a northbound 2014 Ram 2500 pickup truck operated by Matthew Shaklee crashed into him. Moreno was taken by ambulance to Orange City Area Health for treatment. The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
