Tragic accident that occurred on March 22 in Laveen, Arizona.  21-year-old Jaylynn James tragically lost her life near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road when she was hit by a car crossing the road. After the crash, the driver, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and spoke with officers. Tragically, James succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
