Young woman dies in Highway 72 collision

A tragic accident occurred on August 2 in Live Oak County, Texas, when 21-year-old Claudia Alvarez Ramirez was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 72. According to Texas DPS, Ramirez’s Honda Accord struck a Ford F-250 that was making a U-turn. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was hospitalized with injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
