A tragic accident occurred on June 8 in Spokane, Washington, when 21-year-old Ali Abbas was seriously injured in a DUI crash. The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. at Maxwell Avenue and Washington Street. Ali Abbas suffered multiple injuries, including a leg amputation, and is receiving treatment in Seattle. A verified fundraiser has been created in his name to support his recovery. The teen driver was arrested for vehicular assault and hit-and-run.
