Wrightwood woman dies after vehicle leaves roadway

A tragic accident occurred on August 28 in Los Angeles County, California, when 21-year-old Rebekah Cabral-Gonzalez was killed in a possible DUI accident. According to CHP, a Hyundai Veloster veered off Angeles Crest Highway around 1:30 a.m., overturned down an embankment and struck a power pole near Mountain High Resort. Three others were killed and two injured. Alcohol may have contributed. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
