21-Year-Old Maiya Beck Injured in Shasta County, CA Accident

Head-on crash on McArthur Road leaves vehicle burned

A tragic accident occurred on April 9 in Shasta County, California, when 21-year-old Maiya Beck was seriously injured after a northbound Volkswagen crossed the centerline and collided head-on with her Infiniti on McArthur Road near Fall River Mills. Her vehicle caught fire following the crash. She was airlifted to a hospital. The other driver sustained minor injuries. Authorities continue investigating.
