20-Year-Old Luis Miranda Injured In Pomona, CA AccidentThe accident remains under investigationPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occured on Sunday January 24th at midnight in Pomona California. 20-year-old Luis Miranda was identified as one of the victims that was injured in a three-vehicle hit-and-run accident. A 2013 Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended a disabled 2018 Honda Accord in the number four lane of the westbound 10 Freeway. The force of the impact forced the Honda forward, striking the three people who had exited the car. Mr. Miranda, as well as a 39-year-old woman suffered major injuries and was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment. Immediately after the initial crash, a westbound Chevrolet driven by a 32-year-old man, collided with the Malibu. The man in the Malibu suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Officers reported that the Chevy fled the scene of the accident. Anyone with information is urged to contact CHP officers at 626-338-1164.
