20-Year-Old Chatuma Crawford Killed In Cicero, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday December 17th in Cicero, New York. 20-year-old Chatuma Crawford was tragically killed in a fatal pedestrian accident involving an off-duty police officer  along Northern Boulevard. According to New York State Police, Crawford dropped his cell phone and in an attempt to retrieve the phone, the victim was struck by a southbound 2018 Toyota driven by Michael A. Aregano. Crawford was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is currently under investigation by the NYS Attorney General’s Office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
