Mr. Ortiz, along with two other passengers were tragically killed when the driver lost control and struck a tree. The driver was reported to have been under the influence at the time of the crash, and faces charges of DUI and manslaughter. The name of the driver, who suffered minor injuries, has yet to be released. Mr. Ortiz, and the two other victims were all tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
