A tragic accident occurred on July 15 in San Diego, California, when 20-year-old Veronica Maria Moran was a passenger in an Infiniti that crashed into a concrete divider on southbound Interstate 5 near Washington Street. Authorities said Moran exited the vehicle and was struck by a Toyota SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
