20-Year-Old Daniel Ortega Killed in Kern County, CA Accident

Man dies after multi-vehicle rear-end crash near Shafter

A tragic accident occurred on June 2 in Kern County, California, when 20-year-old Daniel Ortega was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on 7th Standard Road near Shafter. Authorities said a Chevrolet pickup rear-ended Ortega’s Honda Civic, pushing it into oncoming traffic where it was struck by another vehicle. Ortega was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Two other drivers suffered minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
