19-Year-Old Patrick Kelly Killed In Stony Brook, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 28 in Stony Brook, New York. 19-year-old Patrick Kelly died as a result of a one-vehicle crash when a GMC slammed into a tree in front of 1556 Stony Brook Road. A sanitation worker saw the overturned vehicle around 7:17 a.m. and immediately called 911, and when officers arrived at the scene, they found two men inside the car. Both were unconscious. Patrick Kelly and another man were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said. Tragically, Kelly died from injuries, according to the report. This is an ongoing investigation.
