19-Year-Old Nicole Bannister Injured In Canton, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, January 3rd in Canton, Illinois. 19-year-old Nicole Bannister was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash along Route 9. According to police, a 2007 Saturn, driven by a 19-year-old Canton woman, was eastbound when it slowed to turn into a private driveway and was rear-ended by a 2005 Dodge passenger car. The Dodge was propelled into the westbound lane, where it was struck by the Chrysler van the victim was a passenger in. The crash remains under investigation.
