19-Year-Old Maria Prado Injured In Modesto, CA AccidentStanislaus County Sherrif's vehicle involved in wreck Posted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Sunday, January 9th in Modesto, California. 19-year-old Maria Prado was injured when the vehicle that she was a passenger in collided with a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office at Villa Manucha Road. Prado was traveling in a 2015 Chevy Coupe driven by a 21-year-old man that entered directly into the path of the deputy’s undercover Nissan. The front of the Nissan struck the left side of the Chevy, causing both vehicles to continue southwest before coming to rest in a field. The Nissan’s lights and siren were on at the time of the collision, authorities said. Prado was taken to Doctors Medical Center with major injuries and the Sheriff's deputy was also injured in the wreck.
