A tragic accident occurred on May 2 in Colton, California, when 19-year-old Larenz Lamaar Fondren was fatally struck by multiple vehicles while crossing East Washington Street around 7 a.m. Authorities said the first driver, a 30-year-old Colton resident, was arrested for vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence. Fondren, a Highland resident, died at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
