19-Year-Old Joselyne Rivera-Higuera Injured in Orondo, WA Accident

Injured in Police-Chase Rollover

A tragic accident occurred on December 6 near Orondo, Washington, when 19-year-old Joselyne Rivera-Higuera was injured in a fiery rollover crash during a high-speed police chase around 4:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 97. Troopers said the 18-year-old driver of a GMC Canyon lost control while fleeing law enforcement, causing the vehicle to roll and become fully engulfed in flames before stopping in a ditch. She was transported to Confluence Health Hospital. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
