19-Year-Old Eliska Potter Injured in Douglas County, WA Accident

Single-vehicle crash on Route 17 near Bridgeport

A tragic accident occurred on June 19 in Douglas County, Washington, when 19-year-old Eliska H. Potter was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route 17 about eight miles south of Bridgeport at around 5:30 p.m. Authorities said a Subaru Legacy left the roadway, overcorrected, and struck an embankment. Potter was airlifted to Confluence Health Hospital in Wenatchee, while the driver was also hospitalized. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
