19-Year-Old Daisy Rubio Killed In Donna, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 1 in Donna, Texas. 19-year-old Daisy Rubio tragically lost her life in a crash allegedly caused by a drunken driver in the 3200 block of North Goolie Road. They found empty alcoholic beverages inside and outside of a Chevy sedan. The fatality victim, Daisy Rubio, was a passenger in the Chevy and got ejected as a result of the rollover crash. After a preliminary investigation, officers determined the driver, a 29-year-old female, was impaired at the time of the collision. She was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter. An investigation into the accident remains underway.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
