19-Year-Old Brendan Torres Killed In Dalhart, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 4 in Dalhart, Texas. 19-year-old firefighter Brendan Torres was killed when their vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer along U.S. Highway 54.  The vehicle was hit head-on by a tractor-trailer attempting a pass on the two-lane road. Torres and his chief died in the wreck. The accident remains under investigation by DPS. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
