19-Year-Old Aidan Wilda Killed In Joliet, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 16 in Joliet, Illinois. 19-year-old Aidan Wilda tragically lost his life after being struck by a total of three vehicles while riding his Yahama motorcycle on South Chicago Street. A Toyota RAV4 was attempting to turn from westbound Schweitzer Road when Wilda’s motorcycle collided with the rear driver’s side of the RAV4.  As a result of the crash, Wilda was knocked off his motorcycle. He was subsequently hit by additional vehicles in the northbound lanes and died at the scene. An investigation remains underway by Joliet police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
