Teen struck and killed by animal services truck on Orcutt Road

A tragic accident occurred on February 25 in San Luis Obispo, California, when 18-year-old Brooklyn Gutierrez was fatally struck by a vehicle on Orcutt Road near La Lomita Way. A San Luis Obispo County Animal Services truck traveling into the city around 4:15 p.m. hit the teen, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
