Teen passenger sustains injuries after vehicle overturns on Grand Parkway

A tragic accident occurred on March 1 in Liberty County, Texas, when 18-year-old Addi Sue-Ann Whittington of Beaumont was injured as a passenger in a vehicle that lost control and rolled into a ditch near Community Drive around 9:06 p.m. The driver, who attempted to pass multiple cars on the inside shoulder, was killed. Whittington sustained minor injuries and was transported to HCA Kingwood for treatment. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
