A tragic accident occurred on August 13 in Otay Mesa, California, when 18-year-old cyclist Tiger Serrano was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash. Around 9:02 p.m., Serrano was riding on Vista San Guadalupe when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. He suffered multiple injuries, including a broken nose, concussion, and damaged teeth.
