18-Year-Old Jaime Castro Dies in Desert Hot Springs, CA Accident

Teen resident fatally struck by multiple vehicles

A tragic accident on September 30 in Desert Hot Springs took the life of 18-year-old Jaime Castro. Police said he was struck by multiple vehicles around 4:10 a.m. near North Indian Canyon Drive and Scenic Drive. Castro was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Detective Chris James at cjames@dhspd.com. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
