17-Year-Old Jasmyne Rubel Killed In Batavia, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on November 4 in Batavia, New York. 17-year-old Jasmyne Rubel was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident at the roundabout on Oak Street Extension. The victim was a passenger on a bike that crashed. Rubel was rushed to United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, where, sadly, she was later pronounced deceased. The driver has been charged with manslaughter, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, reckless driving and other violations.
