A tragic accident occurred on March 1 in Harlingen, Texas, when 17-year-old Cobretti Rae Rodriguez was struck by a vehicle in the 2800 block of N. Expressway 83 around 11:30 p.m. Rodriguez was found with critical injuries and transported to a hospital, where she later died. Authorities have not released details about the driver or vehicle.
