17-Year-Old Brooke Patton Killed in Milam County, TX Accident

Crash on U.S. 79 under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on December 24 in Milam County, Texas, when 17-year-old Brooke Patton was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 79. Patton was a passenger in a car struck after a pickup truck pulling a utility trailer veered into oncoming traffic and caused a chain-reaction collision. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
