Teen seriously hurt after being struck and dragged on Planz Road

A tragic accident occurred on April 15 in Bakersfield, California, when 17-year-old Isaiah Jeffers was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric bike on Planz Road near South Chester Avenue. Authorities said the vehicle hit him from behind and dragged him several yards. Jeffers suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized. The driver fled and remains unidentified.
