16-Year-Old Alberto Castillo Killed in Newhall, CA Accident

Struck by Pickup Truck on West Lyons Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on June 12 in Newhall, California, when 16-year-old Alberto Castillo was fatally struck while skateboarding. Around 11:19 p.m., Castillo was riding in the 23500 block of West Lyons Avenue when a pickup truck driver, who reportedly didn’t see him in time, hit him. Castillo was an avid skateboarder and recently active in his church. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim. A GoFundMepage has been set up to help cover funeral expenses.
