A tragic accident occurred on February 5 in Fresno, California, when 16-year-old Maxwell Thompson, a Justin Garza High School student, was fatally struck while crossing the northbound lanes of Highway 99 south of Herndon Avenue around 9 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
