Teen passenger dies after two-vehicle collision on River Road near Chualar

A tragic accident occurred on May 28 in Monterey County, California, when 16-year-old Itzel Martinez-Morales was a passenger in a Toyota sedan involved in a two-vehicle crash on River Road near Chualar. Authorities said the vehicle crossed double yellow lines and collided with an oncoming car around 8:28 a.m. Martinez-Morales was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
